Southbridge Business Partnership Grant Applications

Apply Online (click here) or Download application (PDF)

The Southbridge Business Partnership is organized by a volunteer group of business owners, principals and interested parties committed to enhancing the economic opportunities for old, new and potential businesses in Southbridge. We aim to accomplish this through collective efforts and activities that recognize success, celebrate accomplishments and support efforts of individual businesses to become established, to grow and to prosper.

As part of our mission states, The Southbridge Business Partnership will receive, administer and distribute funds in connection with any activities related to our mission and goals.

Aligned with our mission, we are currently accepting grant requests. Requests will be reviewed by our Board of Directors and funds will be distributed as available. Applications are currently being accepted on an on-going basis.

A few guidelines for grant application and distribution:

  • Requests may include, but are not limited to: program funding, event sponsorship, decorative items, educational and community based programs and services.

  • Applicants will be asked to do a brief (5-10 minute) presentation to the Board after application is received.

  • Expenditure should be used for the approved usage only. Any changes in the usage plan should be sent to Southbridge Business Partnership.

  • Acknowledgement of the support should be noted next to materials or at programs sponsored through grants noting grant provided by Southbridge Business Partnership.

  • A photo/photos of the event/program should be sent to SBP for future promotional activities.

  • Grants will be given to groups and organizations with programs benefitting Southbridge businesses and residents.

  • Written notification of approval or rejection will be sent after the vote of the Board of Directors.

  • If any grant is denied, it may be re-submitted at a future date. Recurring events/programs/needs previously funded may also be re-submitted for future funding.

If you are interested in being considered, please complete the grant application form and return, preferably either via mail or apply online via our website (click here).

Thank you for being an active and caring part of our community. The Southbridge Business Partnership hopes we can give back to organizations such as yours that are making an impact on Southbridge.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lisa Fortin, SBP Treasurer, via cell (774) 230-3042, any of the SBP Board Members or email info@sbpartnership.org.
